Our first grandchild finally arrived a little before midnight last night, after about 18 hours of labor for Sol. He’s definitely a McQuay, as he was already disobedient, since we had given him clear instructions not to come on the Sunday that Jack Hayford was our guest at CLC!
But we’re excited to see him, and Chris & I will make the drive over to South Bend this morning to welcome him to the family. In the meantime, here’s a few pics of the little guy:

Wow! What a handsome baby he is. Now you and Pastor Chris get to feel the privileged exuberance of “grand-parenting”. We are all happy for your family and stand in prayerful agreement for the health, happiness and continual blessings for little Jaeden.
You will now know how much love you have inside. Grandchildren bring forth the most unconditional love there is second only to that of Our Lord.

Congratulations Grandpa Jerry and Grandma Chris. Pastor Jerry, it is a wonderful moment. I was so thrilled when I got the news of my grand daughter Niha’s birth when I was still in the hospital.
