Surgery Update 2
It’s been a long day.
After doing so well the first couple of days after surgery, Chris had a rough night last night and a terrible day today – nausea & pain worse than ever, and finally vomiting several times this evening. That prompted a call to her surgeon, who asked that we re-admit her to the hospital.
My patience was tested there big-time, but they finally got her into a room and started pumping meds into her through an IV. She looked like a new person when I left for the night, so I’m hoping this was the darkness before the dawn and that she’s on the road to full recovery now.
Please keep her in your prayers. I don’t like to see my wife suffer!
